IMEC ITF World 2023



TSS was invited by IMEC to attend ITF World 2023 in Antwerp, Belgium from May 16-17. It was held at the beautiful Flanders Meeting & Convention Center.


ITF World started with keynote speakers Thierry Breton from the European Commission and Jan Jambon from the Government of Flanders who summarized the current and future outlook of the semiconductor business in Europe.



Keynotes from Jensen Huang of Nvidia discussed their partnership with iMEC and their previous chiplet projects. Ann Kelleher of Intel discussed the industry's relationship with Moore's Law and Mark Papermaster of AMD looked at the future beyond Moore's Law. Atsuyoshi Koike introduced the newly launched fab, Rapidus, which will begin mass production of 2nm process by 2027.



The Demo floor is divided into 42 categories which involves ASICs, Biomanufacturing, Connectivity, Digital Twins, Energy, Health, High-performance Computing, Hyperspectral Imaging, Lidar, Imaging & Sensing, Mobility, Photonics, Robotics, Semiconductor Technology, and Sustainability.



Following the full day of technical talks is the ITF Dinner and Networking session at the Antwerp Zoo.



It was a great time connecting with people who are within our industry and also quite a few that are not.



Overall, it was a great learning experience for TSS and thanks to IMEC for inviting us.
